An opportunity to play your part – As the successfully appointed Billing Analyst, your role will include investigating, analysing, and negotiating to address and document consumer and commercial billing concerns and complaints within British Gas & Centrica. Your responsibilities encompass identifying effective remedies for billing challenges, proposing appropriate resolution options to customers, negotiating and authorizing billing settlements within predefined boundaries, and adjusting customer accounts as required.

The day to day –
- Execute the monthly billing process to generate invoices for all suppliers for MAP rentals, ensuring timely payment.
- Address system exceptions to identify and resolve billing queries, collaborating with relevant departments such as industry flows and data flows.
- Monitor unbilled accounts and uncollected payments, devising and implementing a standardized collection process for recovery.
- Track billing performance, report on achievements, and identify and resolve any issues that arise.
- Assist the DTS team with setting up new suppliers in the Corporate SAP system if required.
- Conduct thorough testing, including UAT, for system upgrades, bug fixes, or new software releases.
- Lead efforts for continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and maintain high service quality standards.
