Embrace Software Inc. is searching for a Junior Business Transformation Analyst to join the Embrace Diligence team to work on acquisitions and post-acquisition analysis. You will play a crucial role in assisting organizations in successfully integrating their operations, processes, and systems post-acquisition.
You will report to champions in the Diligence team. This is a high growth, high visibility position and involves working with CEOs, COOs and CFOs of companies Embrace acquires.
In addition, you will gain a unique perspective on hyper-growth by working closely with Embrace's CEO’s office on special corporate initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing new processes and procedures post-acquisition.
- Assist in Implementing necessary software tools and processes at the portfolio company to improve productivity and obtain more visibility into the business.
- Work closely with senior team members; monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes.
- Assist in evaluating different software platforms and selecting more relevant platforms against the requirements.
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools.
- Engage effectively with other members of the diligence and finance teams who report directly to the CEO of Embrace.
- Assist in due diligence of potential acquisitions and investor reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/Engineering or MBA in a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Process Improvement or Business consulting or Software Implementations.
- Experience in using or implementing ERP such as CRM, Helpdesk, Accounting books (Zoho, Freshdesk products, QBO, Zendesk, Microsoft, SAP, Jira etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and able to work effectively with a variety of teams and leaders at all levels.
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, Pivot Tables etc.
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into software functionality.
- Knowledge of financial concepts, financial modeling and accounting is a plus.
- Ability to work under less supervision.
