Description
Creed Medical is looking for compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide essential care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will play a key role in assisting clients with daily living activities, encouraging independence, and promoting community integration. This rewarding position requires a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of those served and fostering a nurturing and positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in participating in community activities and social events.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans and document progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and team members to provide comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns or changes promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hiring.
