MISSION: To educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. 

 

SUMMARY: The Homeschool and Enrollment Support Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with homeschool families to support recruitment efforts, while also providing administrative and strategic support to the broader enrollment management team. This role serves as a key liaison to the homeschool community and contributes to prospective student engagement through personalized outreach and enrollment initiatives.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ENROLLMENT SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Admissions

  • Support Slate database in data integrity, application creation, and inquiry solutions
  • Learn and build enrollment tools within Slate as directed by supervisor
  • Perform daily imports and name buy downloads
  • Oversee the process of uploading and documenting transcripts for prospective and new students
  • Clean and adjust Slate profiles and applications including: 
    1. Refund/waive of deposit including the notification of appropriate departments
    2. Place or remove cancels
    3. Release Decisions
    4. Merge profiles 
    5. Changing entry term
  • Populi tasks include: 
    1. Uploading of transcripts
    2. Requesting ITEs for college evaluation
    3. Check for new “Continuing Education” applications
      • Link apps to profiles and notify Grad counselor
  • Create necessary activities for deposits when necessary
  • Troubleshoot Slate issues
  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President.

 

 

 

HOMESCHOOL COORDINATOR

  • Act as the primary liaison for the Pre-College program, recruiting and supporting students and families.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with homeschool families, co-ops, and organizations to increase enrollment.
  • Work with Homeschool families from inquiry to enrollment. 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

 

  • Possess the desire and ability to work independently yet still recognize the need to communicate and work with other individuals and departments.
  • Must be able to work with other teams in the University, and rally others to accomplish tasks and projects critical to the institutional mission.
  • Must have a high level of skills with MS Office programs including MS Word and Excel.  Must also possess the understanding of student information systems and how they can be utilized to their fullest potential.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; interpret a variety of instructions, some technical in nature.
  • They must be solution oriented and desire to serve students, staff and faculty in a variety of ways.
  • A strong working knowledge of Corban academic and admissions policies.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. 
  • The individual must have the ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints from students, parents, alumni, or members of the education and business community.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree recommended.
  • Post-Secondary administrative experience or similar administrative role is required.
  • Evidence of strong leadership and administrative skills required. 
  • Evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the university’s mission as described in our Statement of Faith
