RN/LPN/MA - Rheumatology chez Quincy Medical Group

Pay Range:

RN: $25.00 – $37.50 per hour 

LPN: $18.66 – $27.99 per hour 

MA: $16.12 – $24.18 per hour 

Based on Relevant Experience 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 

About the Role:
Join our Rheumatology team as an RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant. You’ll partner with providers to deliver specialty care, support patients managing chronic conditions, and keep clinic operations running smoothly. This is a great role for someone who enjoys patient education, teamwork, and a fast-moving outpatient setting.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Room patients, obtain accurate vitals, histories, and medication lists.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Support medication management: refills, prior authorizations, and patient assistance coordination.
• Place, track, and communicate orders for labs, imaging, and other tests; share results and follow-up instructions with patients.
• Manage inbound/outbound calls and messages; ensure clear, timely communication.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinic environment.
• Serve as a patient coach—provide education, care coordination, and resources.
• Role-specific tasks within licensure and training:
    – RN/LPN: Clinical triage, patient education on therapies, medication/injection administration, care planning, and documentation.
    – MA: Prepare patients and rooms, support clinical workflows, complete delegated tasks and documentation.

Qualifications:
• CPR/BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire).
• RN/LPN: Current Illinois license in good standing; clinic experience preferred.
• MA: High school diploma or GED required; MA certification preferred. 1–2 years of experience as a CNA, PCA, or MA preferred but not required.
• Comfort with EMR documentation, teamwork, and patient communication.
• Interest in learning rheumatology terminology and treatment pathways.
