Position:  Teacher - 5th Grade (P500) LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE

Evaluated by:  Principal/Assistant Principal

Job Location:  West Teays Elementary

Job Description:  The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE Elementary Classroom Teacher is assigned as a generalist to deliver a comprehensive educational program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.      

Qualifications:  Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for elementary education, grades 1-8, 1-6 or K-6 or multi-subjects, grades K-8. Expected training in ""LETRS".

Salary Range: Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance.

Length of Employment:   Until Employee Returns or Resigns

Responsibilities:  The Elementary School Classroom Teacher shall have duties as outlined in the job description.
