The Role

Reporting to the Country HR Lead, this role works in close collaboration with local HR Partners, who are the first point of contact for local business stakeholders. Leading a specialist team, including a Learning & Development Specialist and Recruitment Specialist, this role focusses on attracting, developing and retaining talent within the country. This role is a key advisor on key Talent related processes such the Company Induction, annual Performance Cycle, Learning & Development planning, and Talent Review (Talent identification, Talent Assessment and Talent pool management). This role is key connecting people to opportunities across divisions and sites and will seek to enable internal mobility and employee growth.

The Country Talent & Development role ensures (through communication, training, delivery, reporting & analysis) the implementation and enablement of Etex Group wide processes & initiatives within the Country taking account of differences in site culture and maturity levels. In addition, this role plays an important role in acting in the interests of its Country, listening and working with local stakeholders to take feedback to the global team to enhance the fit of global processes & initiatives with local needs.

The key duties and accountabilities are as follows:

-Drives key processes relating to Talent management including: Onboarding, Offboarding, Performance Cycle, Talent Review and Talent Assessments

- Will monitor, track and report, providing analytical data to drive better local people and business decision making and focussed activity.

- Regularly assess, evaluates and drives actions, to ensure a robust succession plan for the business and specifically in the local country. Helping the business to meet its future resourcing needs.

- In collaboration with the regional and local HR teammates, drives Country initiatives – within the global One-Etex context to attract, retain and develop Talent, enabling Etex Teammates to realise their potential and be at their best at Etex

- Creates connections within the local community and with appropriated educational institutions to develop a talent pipeline, including management of programmes such as apprenticeships

-To support local development planning activity empowering Etex Teammates and upskilling line managers to be able to support their teams

- Gathers country needs and translates this into Country training plans, managing the end-to-end process of Countrywide training initiatives

- Identifies and establishes relationships and contracts with external suppliers/ providers as required, adhering to the Etex Purchasing policy. Will drive vendor harmonization across sites seeking to control costs and improve service provision.

- Responsible for identifying, securing and managing local funding/subsidies available for training activities and qualifications.

- To ensure training records are maintained to meet the ISO standards (as required) and local legislative needs.

- Where applicable: Will manage the local digital learning management system/ platform, including platform development, maintenance and content]. Will ensure alignment to the global learning management system (Talent2Grow), to avoid overlap and confusion.

-To be responsible and accountable for all employees (and stakeholders if applicable) within your span of control or level of influence for environmental, health, safety and wellbeing purposes as well as adherence to Etex standards processes, policies and procedures that fall within your function/expertise and Company rules.

- You will ensure your team delivers good performance and demonstrate positive behaviours in line with Company values, ensuring their personal accountability for their responsibilities and goals.

- To manage your teams’ employee lifecycle; from recruitment, onboarding, induction and probation; to managing performance, absence and capability.

- To engage team members through regular communication, feedback, development conversations, coaching and mentorship.

You

You will have the following skills, experience, qualifications and competencies to be successful in the role:

- Degree qualification, ideally in a HR / Development discipline

- CIPD qualification, ideally level 7

- Demonstrable people management experience

- Is able to influence key stakeholders for compliance to new or existing systems.

- Strong system experience and knowledge of HR technology

- Digitalisation experience

- Project management experience

- Strong analytical skills, organization and prioritisation abilities as well as solid communication skills

- Presentation, training and facilitation skills

- SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS 

- FLM training experience

- Cross Knowledge LMS experience

Good knowledge of Excel to report and analyse data including Microsoft Word, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook
