Scope & Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Manager, HR Communications to lead the development and execution of internal communication strategies that support our people initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and align with our organizational culture and values. This global role will serve as a key partner to global and divisional HR leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent, clear, and compelling messaging across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Develop, manage and implement comprehensive communication plans for global and divisional HR programs, including talent development, Connection & Belonging, Employee Benefits, performance management, employment branding, and change initiatives.
- Partner with global and divisional HR leaders to translate complex policies and programs into clear, engaging content tailored to diverse employee audiences.
- Develop communications plans to support the successful implementation of our organizational strategy and tactics.
- Lead the creation of communication materials such as emails, intranet content, presentations, FAQs, and toolkits.
- Manage internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, digital signage) to ensure timely and effective dissemination of HR information.
- Support executive communications related to people strategy, including town halls, leadership messages, and organizational announcements.
- Measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and continuously improve based on feedback and analytics.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on communication best practices and change management.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 8+ years of direct experience in internal or HR communications, preferably in a large, global, matrixed organization.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with digital communication platforms
- Strong interpersonal and advisory skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Work Environment:
- This role is based at headquarters in San Ramon, CA, and is an onsite role five days per week.
- This is a global role so schedule flexibility to allow for international meetings and travel is required.
- Some travel (up to 15%) will be required.
Experience:
- Experience in change management communications.
- Familiarity with employer branding and employee experience strategies.
- Passion for fostering engaging workplace cultures.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Journalism, or related field
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $135,556.00 and $180,741.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
