Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Ansible Automation Expert to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and configuration automation solutions using Ansible, Ansible Tower (or AWX), and other related tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving infrastructure-as-code (IaC), improving deployment consistency, and enhancing operational efficiency through automation.

We are looking for a skilled Ansible Automation Expert to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and configuration automation solutions using Ansible, Ansible Tower (or AWX), and other related tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving infrastructure-as-code (IaC), improving deployment consistency, and enhancing operational efficiency through automation.
Automation Development:
- Design, write, and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
- Build scalable automation frameworks for Linux and Windows environments.
- Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automated deployments.
- Manage Ansible Tower / AWX for job scheduling, RBAC, workflows, and auditing.
- Define and implement IaC best practices using Ansible in conjunction with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Automate provisioning in on-prem, hybrid, or cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments.
- Develop monitoring and logging solutions for automated tasks.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and version-controlled code repositories (Git).
- Collaborate with system admins, DevOps, cloud, and security teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentorship to team members on Ansible usage and automation standards.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation with strong expertise in Ansible and YAML scripting.
- Proficiency in managing Ansible Tower / AWX environments.
- Deep understanding of Linux system administration and basic Windows automation.
- Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation in hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and code review practices.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security automation, patching, and compliance enforcement using Ansible.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and custom Ansible modules.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
