Senior Sales Manager

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Senior Sales Manager. In this position, your primary objective is to solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.  Additionally, you will assist the Director of Sales in supervising sales activity and production to ensure the achievement of their goals and objectives.

 

The ideal candidate would have strong sales expertise, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to build strong relationships. These attributes enable a senior sales manager to lead effectively, build lasting client relationships, and drive sales.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5-10 years in sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within ideal resorts and convention centers.
  • Experience with CRM and Sales Tools
  • Deep understanding of the hospitality market, including trends, competition, and an understanding of specific needs of corporate, leisure, and event guests.
