Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assist the staff nurse and other healthcare professionals
- Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Assist with sterile processing and equipment sterilization
- Assist with the coordination of durable medical equipment (DME) for patients
- Provide support to patients in behavioral health settings, demonstrating empathy and understanding
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
- Med passing experience required
- Previous experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
