About the role
Join our globally respected brand and play a key role in ensuring the quality of one of the world’s most essential foods. As a Quality Technician, you’ll be part of our Global Rice team, conducting a wide range of product analyses to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This is a permanent position, reporting to the Senior Quality Manager (Pacific & Asia), you’ll work in a dynamic, international environment where your expertise will directly contribute to product excellence and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a high degree of accuracy in testing/analyses and overseeing the calibration and use of analytical instruments within the laboratory.
- Communicate effectively with other business units within SunRice to coordinate analysis and report results.
- Supporting function on overall quality day-to-day operations and administrative, including maintaining finished product specifications database; assisting in conducting trend analysis in consumer complaints and SNRs, and upkeeping the quality management systems, procedures, and vendor risk register.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold full working rights in Singapore.
You will also have:
- Minimum a diploma in Science, Chemistry or Food Science.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in food manufacturing lab facilities.
- Basic understanding on HACCP and GMP requirements (preferred).
- Exposure to food manufacturing or similar industries (preferred).
- Exposure to analytical lab environment.
- Familiar with international testing standards such as ISO, AOAC, USFDA, etc.
- Experience and exposure to GFSI requirements & Quality Management Systems.
- Understanding on food safety and their minimum requirements in the food industry.
- Competent knowledge in Science & Mathematics.
- High level of technical skills in instrumentation and understanding of Chemistry.
- Moderate to advance computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, relevant lab software).
- Ability and knowledge to conduct lab equipment self-maintenance and/or calibration.
- Knowledge in validation and verification process related to testing methodologies are essential.
