KalSoft is currently looking for a Power Platform Developer to come and join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in a hybrid work environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The candidate will work as part of a high-performing development team designing and delivering robust low-code/no-code business solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The candidate will work as part of a high-performing development team designing and delivering robust low-code/no-code business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, deploy, and support business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse)
- Create model-driven and canvas apps tailored to business requirements
- Build automated workflows and process integrations using Power Automate
- Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize business insights
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Dynamics 365
- Build custom connectors, components, and APIs as needed for scalable integration
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into functional, user-friendly applications
- Maintain and optimize existing Power Platform apps, flows, and dashboards
- Prepare documentation for solutions, including architecture, configuration, and data models
- Stay current with new features and capabilities within the Power Platform ecosystem
Skills & Experience Required:
- Canadian residents based in the GTA apply only
- Proven experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
- Hands-on experience with canvas and model-driven apps, including embedding apps within Microsoft Teams or SharePoint
- Strong understanding of Dataverse schema, custom tables, relationships, and business rules
- Experience creating approval workflows, business process flows, and complex logic using Power Automate
- Experience building custom connectors, PCF controls, and integrating external APIs
- Knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report publishing
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Azure Logic Apps, or other M365 services
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, or C# is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative Agile team
