Hybrid 2025 Off-cycle Internship – Tech – Cyber Monitoring Analyst – ZH chez UBS

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Group Technology.

You’ll get to:
- perform continuous cyber monitoring, analysis and initial response to cyber alerts
- analyze malware to identify its behavior, assess the impact and mitigate accordingly
- process Cyber intelligence in the form of IoCs and wider TTP reports
- recommend tuning or improvement of detection and mitigation capabilities
- work with sandboxing and end-point technologies for intrusion investigations
- collaborate with different stakeholders on various levels of organization

You’ll be working in the Cyber Security Operations Center team in Zürich. We provide continuous cybersecurity monitoring, triaging, initial response services and support peer security teams as well as deliver detection content improvements. We are a global team with presence in Switzerland, USA and Singapore focusing on proactive defense capability. By joining our team you will have continuous learning possibilities while tracking recent techniques, tactics and procedures of various adversaries.

We’re looking for a candidate who:
• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree), preferably in a MINT topic
• has previous experience or familiarity of Networking, Operating Systems and associated protocols
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
