Every day, we live by our values of Integrity, Excellence, Leadership, and Passion, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive—both at work and beyond.What You’ll Be Doing:Design, develop, and refine 128Gbps PAM4 SERDES IP.Collaborate with a cross-functional team of analog and mixed-signal circuit designers on design and methodology.Work on full custom analog/mixed-signal circuit design, custom layout, circuit simulations, and post-silicon characterization.Investigate reliability and gain a deep understanding of silicon IP design requirements.Ensuring our designs meet the full specifications of the protocols being supported.Contribute to next-generation high-speed (>200Gbps) analog integrated circuits in the latest FinFET process nodes.What You’ll Need:Currently pursuing an MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, in the 2nd year of your degree.Industry experience is a plus.Proficiency in designing high-speed wireline analog circuits (CTLE, VGA, SST Drivers, ADCs).Experience in simulation using tools like hspice, finesim, XA.Experience in modelling tools like systemVerliog, MATLAB/SimulinkProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and TCL.Competence with CAD tools including schematic, layout, simulation, DRC, LVS, PEX.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Key Program Facts:Program Length: Minimum 6 months; preferably 12+ months.Location: Mississauga, Ontario, CANADAWorking Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in office minimum)Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours/week)Start Date: September 2025Equal Opportunity Statement:Synopsys is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
