Here is a description of the role we are opening:
Responsibilities
Create Purchase Orders upon receipt of newly approved Purchase Requisitions (PR)
Send approved Purchase Orders to suppliers or contractors following internal PO approval protocols
Manage and file relevant documents related to POs, including the registration of order acknowledgments
Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgments and monitor overdue delivery timelines
Act as a support function for internal teams, providing updates and answering procurement-related inquiries (phone/email)
Assist in the continuous improvement and accuracy of material master data
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Master’s / Bachelor’s program (Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field).
Know how in purchasing, purchase orders, documentation, etc
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
Fluent in German & English
