Hybrid Student- Test & Validation chez Johnson Electric

PURPOSE & SCOPE:

Reporting to the Test and Validation Engineer, as a student for the Test and Validation Team, you will support the Engineering team in their daily business as well as take over tasks on your own.

Must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and perform tests according to our DVP&R standards
• Data analysis using MS Excel, Artemis Suite, MATLAB and/or DIADEM
• Support the customer return process
• Perform literature research on various topics
• Technical documentation and reporting
• Ensure all work is performed and completed in a safe manner

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Education and/or Experience:

• Student of Mechanical Engineering (or similar profession)
• Team worker, open minded, curious for new technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on mentality

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Inclination
• Basic knowledge in the automotive environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Structured working method
• Good interpersonal skills. Able to work well independently or within a team environment

Language Skills:

• German fluently
• Good English
• More languages skill advantageous

Work Environment (including Physical Demands):

• 50% desk work –utilizing the computer
• 50% Hands-on work within the prototype workshop
