Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for inpatient care and emergency & critical care? We’re looking for a confident and compassionate RVN (3+ years experience) to join our experienced team at Shrewsbury Hospital.
In this role, you'll work closely with our dedicated ECC vet, playing a vital part in the management of inpatients and emergency cases that present throughout the day. This is a varied, hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex and critical cases.

Key responsibilities:
- Triage and support for emergency cases
- Assisting with emergency procedures
- Involvement in theatre and anaesthesia
- Delivering exceptional inpatient care
- Flexibility to support in other nursing roles as needed within the hospital
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical practice
- Strong interest in ECC and inpatient care (holding an ECC cert is advantageous)
- Confident in theatre and emergency triage
- Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
Rota:
4 on 4 off
Shift length 11hrs
Times: 07:30-19:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
