What do you need to bring?

You will serve as a development and support engineer for digital platforms, both on-premises and in the cloud, including service-based architectures.

Strong communication skills and motivation are required to achieve results in a dynamic environment.

Job Description:
Engineer responsible for the technical implementation of projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop, refine, and optimize integrations between data sources and specialized industry applications.
• Code workflows to automate drilling, production, reservoir, and facility processes.
• Participate in technical design sessions and pre-project effort estimates.
• Design, develop, and implement unit tests according to established standards and agile principles.
• Develop test scripts, documentation, and stress tests.
• Support the installation, implementation, and long-term maintenance of the project.
• Compliance with high-quality development principles and delivery of solutions on time and within budget.

Requirements:
• Computer Science Engineer, in the fields of petroleum, industry, electronics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, including back-end and front-end.
• Willingness to acquire key skills in the oil and gas industry, especially in the digital oil sector.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, including languages such as Python, C#, and VB.Net; front-end web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; and knowledge of libraries such as Highcharts and Kendo UI.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and query concepts.
• Familiarity with basic data management concepts and data processing problems related to variable data frequencies in general topics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Oracle.
• Knowledge of upstream oil and gas applications and data types, including but not limited to: Avocet, Energy Components, OpenWells, WellView, Cygnet, and OSI-PI, will be a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency.
