This is a fully remote contract position and we're looking for Senior Design Project Manager to lead and coordinate the design efforts of a major app redesign. The role focuses on ensuring alignment across design, product, engineering, and business stakeholders, and requires strong leadership in program management, agile workflow operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage design schedules, deliverables, and capacity planning.
· Lead design ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retros, sprint planning) and align design tasks within Agile workflows.
· Act as the bridge between design and other teams, ensuring alignment and representation in planning meetings.
· Oversee the design review process, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to UX/UI and design system standards.
· Maintain clear documentation, executive updates, and team accountability.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of project/program management, with 3+ years supporting UX/UI or product design teams.
· Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Figma, and ZeroHeight.
· Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Strong understanding of the UX/UI lifecycle, from research to delivery.
· Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred:
Experience with large-scale app redesigns and consumer facing applications.
