Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven B2B Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a remote office position, but candidates must reside in or near Eugene, Oregon to effectively canvas and manage the local territory. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, canvassing assigned territories, and developing long-term relationships with small to midsized business clients. Your primary focus will be generating new revenue through direct sales of our commercial telecommunications services, including fiber internet, voice, and enterprise solutions. This is a high-impact, field-based role ideal for a competitive self-starter with strong communication skills and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business accounts through direct sales, outbound outreach, territory canvassing, networking, and referrals
- Understand and effectively communicate the value of Hunter Communications’ fiber and voice solutions to business customers
- Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas and performance goals
- Conduct on-site visits and presentations to decision-makers at commercial properties and business offices
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, support, and installation teams) to ensure smooth service delivery
- Represent the Hunter Communications brand with professionalism and integrity in the community

We’re looking for someone who can help us be better together, with strengths like:
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, SaaS, or technology
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop leads, and close deals independently
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong work ethic with a self-starter attitude and the ability to manage a field-based sales schedule
- Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and face-to-face selling
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must reside in or near Eugene, OR
The salary rate for this position starts between $45,000 – $60,000, depending on experience level. We also have an uncapped commission plan that includes escalators on sales made.
