As the Gifted and ELL Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Program Development and Implementation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive national programming guidance for ELL and Gifted programming across the ACCEL network of online schools.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, research findings, and best practices to continually enhance program effectiveness.
Teacher Leadership:
- Lead a team of Gifted and ELL National Shared teachers, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Design and implement professional development, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and excellence.
- Coordinator will help develop network guidance, CAT team, and develop or source end to end Currica provider
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that the shared Gifted and ELL teachers adhere to high instructional standards and deliver engaging and effective online lessons.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance teacher performance.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Establish collaborative partnerships with ELL and Gifted teachers, school administrators and curriculum teams to ensure that ELL and Gifted programs align seamlessly with national standards, promoting a rich and engaging learning experience for students.
- Seek out and form strategic partnerships that enhance program offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of successful teaching experience
- Gifted AND/OR ELL License
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate with a team of teachers
- Experience in curricular development and lesson planning

The annual starting salary for this position is between $50,000 – $60,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
We offer the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, 10 paid holidays annually.
Paid Time Off: 12-month staff receive 19 days of paid time off annually.
We offer 4 unique health insurance plans to choose from that cover a wide range of deductibles and co- insurance levels. Our goal is to provide you with maximum choice in finding a plan that meets you and your family’s needs. Three of the plans are PPO plans with set co-pays for certain medical services, and one of the plans is a High Deductible Plan with set co-insurance levels after deductibles have been met. All plans offer both in-network and out-of-network coverage.
