Location: Chennai / Bangalore (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven T24 Technical Specialist to join our team in delivering high-impact Temenos projects. This role involves deep technical expertise in T24 (R18 and above), with strong skills in customization, integration, and migration within banking environments. The position supports implementation, upgrades, and strategic transformation initiatives including cloud migration and T24 optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop components for T24 upgrade and implementation:
Customizations and functionality enhancements
Report development and integration with external systems
Conversion programs and CoB jobs
Lead data migration and performance optimization activities
Support configuration, installation, upgrades, releases, and patching of T24 environments
Work closely with Temenos for issue resolution and setup coordination
Validate technical setups, install custom enhancements, and conduct technical testing
Prepare clear and concise technical documentation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and developers
Identify and resolve functional and technical gaps in project requirements
Contribute to SCB's T24 roadmap including cloud convergence and technical optimization
Promote reuse through templates, tools, and reusable components development
Participate in improvement initiatives and internal knowledge sharing
Mandatory Skills
Programming: InfoBasic, Java, JavaScript
T24 Knowledge: R18 and above, TAFJ architecture
Core Modules: OFS, IRIS API, Security module
Platforms: RedHat Linux, IBM AIX
Middleware/App Server: jBASE, JBoss
Databases: Oracle and SQL
Batch/COB and Reporting Tools
Data Interfaces and IRIS Integration
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
Experience in:
Java VMs, WAR/EAR artifacts, JMS, performance tuning
ESB-based integration and orchestration
API-first architecture, web services, continual release deployment
Security concepts including cryptography, encryption/masking
Single Sign-On, LDAP/Active Directory integration
Cloud hosting and deployment
Hands-on exposure to:
Componentization of applications
SMS (Security Management System)
Logging/monitoring for T24
IRIS interfaces and migration projects
At least 3 core functional modules of T24
Professional Attributes
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working under tight deadlines
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies
High coding standards and attention to detail
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in development tools and adherence to SDLC processes
