What's exciting about the role

As an IT Support Specialist at Verifone, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems and services. You'll work closely with a global team to support end users and troubleshoot technical issues as well as providing high-level support to executive leadership. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of hardware and software in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support in alignment with corporate IT standards and policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
  • Install, configure and maintain hardware, operations systems, and applications.
  • Support the launch of new application and technology rollouts.
  • Document, prioritize, and manage multiple service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets in the Atlanta office.
  • Deliver white-glove support to executive team members.
  • Assist in vendor negotiations for IT, telecom, and facilities services to ensure optimal pricing and service levels. 
  • Create and maintain IT documentation and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members across the Americas to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in IT, relevant certifications, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Windows, Apple and Linux environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management tools and service desk platforms is preferred.
  • Experience supporting c-level executives is a bonus.
