As a Health Record & Info Tech II with Sentara, you will compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. We are looking for an individual who is dependable and reliable. Has critical thinking skills, pays close attention to detail, is team-oriented and works well independently. Excellent customer service skills are a must. The Health Record and Info Tech II should have good hand-eye coordination and the ability to meet process document standards as set. Should have developed ability to focus on detailed processes & validate accuracy of others.
Education Required:
High School Diploma
Experience Required:
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Associate degree in health information technology or related Healthcare field OR
2 years Medical Office OR
2yrs Medical Records Data OR
2 years Health Information Services experience required.
Skills Required:
