About the job

Responsible for managing and leading the Project Execution Team and supervising all assigned regional customer Projects/Orders for the team to ensure contract fulfillment and delivery of contractual requirements.
 

Responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing team in line with the Alfa Laval culture and values.

Key tasks:

  • Coordinate and follow up on the projects managed by the Project execution engineer.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plans and control the cost to avoid deviation.
  • Take decision when deviation (cost, delay, technical) occurs against the project plan.
  • Ensure the project margins, and improve it if possible, through change order management.
  • Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (for example engineering, technical) to secure specialized resources and contributions for the projects secured by the Sales Company.
  • Trouble shooting management during warranty period of new equipment sold.
  • Set and monitor the objectives for the team according with the Sales Company targets.
  • Develop, motivate and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant competencies supporting their professional development.

What you know?

  • Relevant engineering bachelor’s degree from established University or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 Years experience in Project Management
  • Candidates with prior experience as a team leader/people manager will have an added advantage.
  • Experience in engineering background preferred.
  • Good Interpersonal and collaboration skill
  • Agile and a good problem solver
