We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Program Manager to join our Talent Management team as we establish a firm-wide integrated talent management approach.  This role requires demonstrated experience in the talent function, to include talent-related program design, scalability, seamless implementation and measurement. The person in this role will ultimately create, own and evolve multiple talent related processes and programs, end-to-end, with a focus on building leader and colleague capabilities in alignment with our cultural values and business objectives.

The Talent Program Manager will collaborate with business area leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to lead key initiatives tied to the colleague lifecycle, that will enable leader and colleague growth and development, enhance team dynamics and improve overall colleague engagement.  Examples of these initiatives include creating robust success profiles and selection tools for hiring top talent; establishing a comprehensive competency and skills framework that will advance career pathing; elevate current programs, and lead initiatives that empower leaders to execute our performance management processes, while driving overall colleague growth and team effectiveness. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and scale sustainable, highly effective talent-specific programs that support Baldwin’s organizational goals and strategic vision.
  • Own and evolve a comprehensive set of talent management programs, optimizing and improving processes and technology-based solutions to drive adoption and facilitate successful change management.
  • Deliver industry leading programs that will enhance leader capabilities and effectiveness with a focus on performance management, providing leaders with practical tools and resources to lead effectively while building a team of top talent.  
  • Oversee the creation, implementation, and management of new talent specific programs from start to finish.  This includes initial benchmarking and needs assessment, project management and rollout with robust leader and colleague resources, and a formulated communication strategy.
  • Partner directly with internal stakeholders to include business leadership, senior leadership, and HR Centers of Excellence when conducting needs assessments and gaining feedback on Baldwin’s integrated talent approach. 
  • Support the ongoing development and execution of Baldwin’s onboarding and engagement programs and drive actions that enhance colleague connection with our culture and promote overall colleague satisfaction, commitment, and retention.
  • Establish and utilize metrics to assess effectiveness of processes and programs to drive ongoing improvement of our talent management efforts across the firm.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Education or related field)
  • At least 3+ years of progressive experience in Talent Development/Management roles
  • Workday knowledge a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of talent development standards and-or adult learning principles.
  • Ability to innovate; experience creating engaging talent-related programs and resulting colleague experiences.
  • Colleague-centric, always seeking to improve the overall colleague experience and ensure a positive organizational impact.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple mid to large-scale projects simultaneously, with high visibility, organization and prioritization while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Skilled facilitator, experienced in leading training sessions for both small and large groups, in-person and virtually. Skilled at creating facilitation materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and drive clarity.
  • A proactive change agent, familiar with change management principles, who drives continuous improvement and innovation within talent management programs and processes.
  • Experience and confidence in interacting with senior leadership or senior level professionals.
  • Highly collaborative, with a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; comfortable holding self and other accountable.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach; agile in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience using an HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Proven experience presenting effectively using virtual platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new software systems and tools used by the organization
