OurNorth American Materials & Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Quality Assurance Systems Strategist to support our US Semiconductor business in Austin, TX, located at 9701 Dessau Road, Suite 605, Austin, TX 78754. Work may be performed remotely 1 day/week from a home address within commuting distance of the listed worksite address.
Duties: Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and process improvement solutions for operations and customer communication within an international manufacturing environment using data analysis, ISO guidelines, and optimization tools. Work with Japan and U.S. business operations to develop and sustain standard organizational operating procedures, including documenting workflow and process steps through the use of SAP software across international affiliate entities. Utilize, modify, and improve HORIBA Group’s Enterprise Resource Planning System (GEO SAP System) software to collect and assess HORIBA clients’ product and system failure reports, utilization methodologies, guidelines and procedures. Analyze data and employ optimization techniques to recommend strategic business process enhancement plans for standard and future changes across new business structures within the international manufacturing environment. Develop training material and conduct training sessions for employees on implementing new processes. Use advanced experience in SAP and YourSoft, or related Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and software packages, to write/develop complex macros to streamline communication from customer demand signals/MRP, complete configuration, and write internal and factory reports. Develop and present monthly reports to management and operations using SAP/Yoursoft and Microsoft Excel software for Inside Sales and Customer Service (IS/CS) reports, among others, and performance goals to reflect global accounting structure changes. Create macro and data analysis packages utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to transform reports into more meaningful and actionable reporting for management. Coordinate with the factory and Quality Assurance (QA) regarding failed parts for Original Equipment Manufacturers, addressing Device Master Records (DMR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) by ensuring QA review, proper reporting, and adherence to customer requirements. Also requires domestic travel, approximately less than 5% of the work time to attend sales meetings. International travel required, approximately one annual trip for global meetings.
Primary Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
Alternate Requirement: Four (4) years of experience in the job offered.
