This broad product offering makes it a one-stop partner for online businesses and entrepreneurs across Europe.Position OverviewThe Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for providing expert guidance and oversight of cloud services across the organization’s SaaS Platforms. The role is based in our SaaS center of expertise. Which consists of experts in different areas and provides specialized expertise and advise in cloud services, quality assurance, and software architecture to the organization’s SaaS businesses.This role involves advising on best practices, reviewing cloud architecture and implementations, and ensuring that cloud strategies align with the organization’s overall goals. In addition, the role will play a key role in the acquisition and integration of new companies into team.blue, with recommendations on the architecture and use of cloud services, improvement plans and providing ongoing support to achieve integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or other major cloud platforms and a strong background in cloud architecture, security, and operations.Key Responsibilities

  • Advisory Role: Provide expert advice to SaaS Platforms on cloud architecture, security, and operations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Review and Oversight: Regularly review cloud implementations, including infrastructure, deployments, and security protocols, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine cloud strategies that meet the unique needs of each SaaS Platforms while maintaining organizational consistency.
  • Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize cloud performance, reduce costs, and improve scalability across the different SaaS platforms.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all cloud environments adhere to relevant compliance standards and security policies, advising on necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other leads in the service center, including QA and Software Architecture, to deliver cohesive support across all technical domains.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in cloud services, with at least 5 years in a leadership or advisory role.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), cloud architecture, and security best practices.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive cloud strategy across multiple business units.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cost Optimisation: Demonstrated success in driving significant infrastructure cost optimizations while maintaining or improving performance and scalability, with a focus on cloud services and resource management
  • Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect etc.) are highly desirable.
