About the Role
The Senior NetSuite Analyst — NetSuite ERP is a senior individual contributor responsible for the deep technical administration, configuration, and strategic optimization of the organization's NetSuite ERP environment. This is not an entry-level or generalist role — we are looking for someone with broad, hands-on NetSuite expertise that spans functional configuration, SuiteScript development, SuiteFlow automation, integration architecture, and platform governance.
This role owns the NetSuite platform from the inside out: configuring and maintaining the chart of accounts and financial structures, building and troubleshooting complex workflows and scripts, managing integrations with adjacent systems, and serving as the internal subject-matter expert that Finance, IT, and leadership rely on to drive platform decisions. The ideal candidate has seen NetSuite in complex, high-transaction environments and can move fluidly between business requirements conversations and backend technical work
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
NetSuite Platform Administration & Configuration
- Serve as the primary Senior NetSuite Analyst with full ownership of configuration, access controls, role architecture, and environment management (Sandbox, Release Preview, Production).
- Maintain and optimize the chart of accounts, subsidiaries, segments, and reporting structures to support accurate multi-entity financials.
- Configure and manage NetSuite modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, and Revenue Recognition.
- Administer user roles, permission sets, and record-level security in compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements.
- Manage period close procedures within NetSuite, including lock/unlock controls, intercompany eliminations support, and data integrity validation.
- Evaluate, plan, and execute NetSuite version upgrades and bundle releases, including regression testing and stakeholder communication.
SuiteScript, SuiteFlow & Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain SuiteScript 2.x solutions (User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, RESTlets, Suitelets) to extend NetSuite functionality and automate business processes.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot SuiteFlow workflows and approval routing logic for financial and operational processes.
- Develop and manage SuiteBuilder customizations including custom records, custom fields, custom forms, and saved searches.
- Write and maintain complex Saved Searches, reports, and financial statements to support operational and executive reporting needs.
- Create and manage SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) integrations and API connections between NetSuite and external systems.
Reporting, Analytics & Financial Processes
- Design and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPI views within NetSuite and connected BI tools such as Power BI.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting system workflows; assist Finance with model updates, data integrity validation, and reporting output accuracy.
- Support account reconciliation processes including payment settlement, subledger-to-GL reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Partner with the Data & Analytics team on NetSuite data extracts, data warehouse connections, and enterprise analytics initiatives.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from Finance, Accounting, HR, and other stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Technical Design Documents, and process maps.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, process-mapping sessions, and system design reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate and lead UAT for system enhancements, new modules, and integrations; manage test scripts, defect tracking, and sign-off.
- Serve as Tier-2 application support for NetSuite and related financial platforms; coordinate with vendors and escalate as needed.
- Assist with vendor relationship management, issue resolution, and release planning for financial systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, process guides, and knowledge base articles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP administration in a production environment, with demonstrated breadth across functional modules and technical capabilities.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlets, Suitelets) — ability to write, debug, and maintain custom scripts independently.
- Strong SuiteFlow and SuiteBuilder skills including custom records, forms, fields, and complex approval workflows.
- Deep understanding of core accounting and finance processes: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and multi-entity/multi-currency environments.
- Demonstrated experience building and troubleshooting NetSuite integrations using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs) and/or middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi, or similar).
- Experience with NetSuite Saved Searches, custom reports, financial statements, and dashboard configuration.
- Familiarity with NetSuite role architecture, security configurations, and audit controls (SOX-adjacent environments preferred).
- Experience supporting or leading NetSuite version upgrades, bundle management, and Sandbox/Release Preview testing.
- Solid SQL skills and comfort working with data extracts, CSV imports, and structured data manipulation.
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communication skills — able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- NetSuite Administrator Certification (NS0-003 or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification a plus.
- Experience with Coupa, Egencia, UKG, Concur, or similar procurement/expense/HR platforms and their NetSuite integrations.

- Exposure to Power BI or other BI/analytics tools for financial dashboard development.
- Experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or multi-site service industry environments.
- Familiarity with financial data modeling, data warehousing, or enterprise analytics architecture.
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting tools (Adaptive, Planful, Vena, or similar) integrated with NetSuite.
Benefits
- 21 paid days off (15 days of PTO, which increases with tenure, plus 6 holidays).
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
- Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance.
- Generous 401(k) with up to 6% employer match.
