About the team
The Funnels & Websites Team owns one of HighLevel’s most business-critical surfaces where leads are generated, experiences are delivered, and conversions happen. This team is responsible for:
Funnel Builder & Website Builder platforms
Mobile & tablet creation and consumption experiences
Rendering, publishing, and performance infrastructure
Tracking Events & Analytics foundations
Templates, widgets, media, and extensibility
Funnels are a core growth engine for HighLevel agencies. As we scale, this platform supports millions of pages, billions of tracked events, and high-concurrency traffic, making product decisions here fundamental to company growth.
Role Overview
As Staff Product Manager – Funnels & Websites, you will shape the future of Funnels at HighLevel - owning the product vision, strategy, and execution that transforms Funnels into the primary lead generation engine for agencies and SMBs.
This is a senior individual contributor role with org-wide influence. You will:
- Define how Funnels compete with and outperform the best builders in the market
- Lead multi-year strategy across creation, analytics, optimization, and distribution
- Drive mobile-first and tablet-optimized experiences across building and consumption
- Partner deeply with GTM, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships to position Funnels as a flagship HighLevel product
- Your work will directly impact adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, and platform growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the long-term vision and roadmap for Funnels as HighLevel’s core lead generation product, defining what best-in-class means across ease of use, performance, conversion, and scale while continuously benchmarking against leading platforms.
- Design Funnels not just as pages, but as complete conversion systems by driving features that improve lead capture, qualification, routing, and follow-through, and by partnering with Analytics and Automation teams to close the loop from visit → lead → conversion.
- Own funnel creation and consumption experiences across mobile and tablet devices, ensuring builders are intuitive, performant, and conversion-optimized, while defining responsive behavior, mobile-specific layouts, and interaction standards.
- Lead cross-team initiatives spanning frontend, backend, infrastructure, analytics, and AI, influencing architectural decisions around rendering engines, data models, and event pipelines.
- Define event taxonomy and behavioral tracking standards across funnels, enabling insights into drop-offs, engagement, conversions, and experimentation, and driving data-backed optimization workflows for agencies.
- Drive AI-assisted funnel creation, copy generation, layout suggestions, and optimization, partnering with ML teams to deliver actionable and explainable recommendations.
- Partner with GTM teams to position Funnels as a flagship growth product, influencing pricing, packaging, messaging, and launch strategy, while supporting sales enablement and customer education through clear product narratives.
- Operate hands-on with PRDs, data analysis, and product validation, driving alignment across multiple squads with clarity and urgency while balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
- Own outcomes across adoption, activation, conversion lift, engagement, and retention, using data to validate impact and guide strategic bets.
Experience
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in SaaS, MarTech, or web platforms
- Strong product instincts for mobile & responsive UX
- Familiarity with user behavior tracking (clicks, scrolls, heatmaps, form submissions, media events, etc.)
- Experience working closely with engineering on complex frontend, backend, and infra systems
- Ability to influence GTM and business strategy beyond pure product execution
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder leadership skills
- Strong UI/UX sensibilities and ability to work closely with designers
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on complex frontend + backend product builds
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AI/LLM-powered creation or optimization tools
- Background in high-traffic publishing or page-rendering systems
- Exposure to experimentation frameworks or personalization engines
- Experience building products for agencies or creators
- Prior work in remote, global product organizations
