About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance services using modern backend technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Python and Node.js
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–9 years of experience in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
