Pay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs)
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant at Quincy Medical Group, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services and patient care management within the Family Practice department at our Kahoka clinic. You’ll assist providers with both medical and administrative tasks, help maintain smooth clinic operations, and ensure every patient has a positive, supportive experience.
Primary Responsibilities
You will prepare patients for visits, record vital signs and medical histories, assist providers during exams and minor procedures, and help coordinate referrals, medication refills, and follow-up care. Additional responsibilities include handling patient calls, scheduling tests and procedures, maintaining clean and organized exam rooms, providing patient education and support, and performing other duties to support clinic operations.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
CPR certification required (available upon hire).
Medical Assistant certification preferred.
1–2 years of clinical experience as a CNA, PCA, or MA preferred but not required.
Open to learning medical terminology and expanding healthcare knowledge.
