We are seeking an experienced and proactive Voice Porting Manager to lead our number porting operations. This newly created role will be pivotal in establishing and managing a high-performing team of porting specialists based in Malaysia. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end porting process, drive automation initiatives, and ensure seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Training
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Voice Porting Specialists in Malaysia. 
  • Establish clear performance metrics and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.

Operational Oversight
  • Own and optimize the number porting process across all regions. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to upstream and downstream systems. 
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with Voice Engineering to align on technical porting requirements. 
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers including, Gaining Carriers, and customers. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for porting-related escalations and queries. 
  • Establish and manage the number portability contracts with third party suppliers through initiation and in service.

 Process Automation & Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline porting workflows. 
  • Implement tools and systems to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Compliance & Billing 
  • Ensure accurate porting-related billing and reconciliation. 
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in voice porting operations, preferably within telecom or managed services.
  • Strong understanding of UK number porting regulations and industry practices.
  • Experience managing remote or offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with working alongside technical engineering teams and external carriers.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
