Position Overview

Blenders is looking for a Brand Manager who blends strategy with storytelling — a creative-minded marketer who can turn product launches into cultural moments. You’ll be the connective tissue between Creative, Product, and Marketing,  translating brand strategy into go-to-market plans that build heat, drive sell-through, and deepen consumer connection.

You’ll oversee seasonal campaign planning, lead cross-functional alignment, and ensure every moment, from email to retail to influencer drops, adders up to a cohesive brand narrative. This is a role for a marketer who thrives in motion: part strategist, part operator, part storyteller.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Campaign Strategy

  • Translate brand strategy and business goals into integrated campaign plans that drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Build and manage the brand calendar, ensuring launches, moments, and tentpoles are strategically sequenced and aligned with product and marketing priorities.
  • Develop positioning and messaging frameworks for key categories, franchises, and partnerships.
  • Partner with Creative, Product, and Digital/eComm to ensure consistent brand storytelling across all touchpoints.
  • Lead campaign kickoffs, providing clear briefs and direction to align cross-functional teams.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Own the 360° go-to-market process for key launches, from briefing to creative to delivery.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables across teams to ensure campaigns launch flawlessly.
  • Collaborate with Social, Influencer and Athlete team, Retail, and Paid Media to activate integrated brand moments.
  • Support retail marketing initiatives and product storytelling across in-store, digital, and experiential environments.

Consumer & Market Insights

  • Understand the target consumer and marketplace: what’s trending, what’s next, and where Blenders fits in.
  • Analyze performance data, campaign results, and cultural insights to inform future planning.
  • Partner with analytics and eComm to translate insights into creative and commercial opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the day-to-day brand steward and central contact for key campaigns.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Creative and Social Media Manager to ensure storytelling consistency and content alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop launch narratives that highlight innovation and design.
  • Manage external partners (PR, influencers and affiliate agencies, production vendors) as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience in brand or marketing management at a lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brand (DTC + Retail experience preferred).
  • Proven success leading integrated campaigns from strategy through execution.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, influencer strategy, and retail marketing.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to balance multiple launches simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller — both in decks and in person.
  • Data-curious: comfortable interpreting insights and applying learnings to creative strategy.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented — thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Diego; in-office 3 days per week.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strategist: You see the big picture and connect the dots between creative, product, and consumer.
  • A doer: You’re organized, execution-minded, and not afraid to get into the details.
  • A storyteller: You know how to turn brand and product insights into emotion-driven campaigns.
  • A connector: You bring teams together around a shared vision and make collaboration effortless.
  • A brand builder: You care deeply about consistency, craft, and cultural relevance.

Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Hybrid role: onsite in our San Diego HQ 3–4 days per week.
  • Flexibility to attend shoots, events, or activations outside standard hours.
  • Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
