Quanex is looking for a Strategic Account Director to join our sales team. This has the potential to be a remote position.
The Strategic Account Director is responsible for relationship and overall account management for strategic customers.

What Success Looks Like:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve annual sales targets and drive growth across all business lines.
- Manage large national accounts and build executive-level relationships, including demonstrated success with C-Suite engagement.
- Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless project execution, resource alignment, and exceptional service delivery.
- Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate effectively through presentations and reports, ensuring timely updates on forecasts, sales calls, and key metrics.
- Plan and prioritize outside sales activities to maximize client engagement and support new business transitions.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 10 years of outside sales experience and business development.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic OEM customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $165,000 per year with potential to earn an annual bonus.
