Amerco Real Estate Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager. In this role, you will work alongside the leasing team to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial property portfolio in the U.S. and Canada. You will be directly under the supervision of the management team including the Director of Leasing. Please note this is a full-time, in-person position in Midtown Phoenix, business travel may be required.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a liaison between the owner and tenants, managing all aspects of the rental process from advertising to eviction if necessary.

  • Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

  • Address tenant needs, coordinating administrative and building technical staff to resolve problems promptly.

  • Ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations and standards.

  • Ensure periodic regular property inspections.

  • Recommend and approve property alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning as necessary.

  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses.

  • Calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in property management (master’s degree may be considered in lieu of experience)

·        Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Have professional, clear communication skills and etiquette

  • Be a team player and work with a wide variety of staff

  • Be able to multi-task and prioritize projects while maintaining attention to detail

  • Be a problem-solver with advanced analytical and quantitative skills

  • Be able to take initiative and direction
