Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education or a related field
- Experience in K-12 schools
- K-12 Licensure
- A minimum of 3 years K-12 teaching experience
- A minimum of 3 years college teaching experience
- Experience preferred in teaching one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Education; Education Foundations (historical, philosophical, political, legal and economic aspects of K-12 public education); Learning and Development; Culturally Responsive Education.
- Demonstrated ability for high level or organization, prioritizing, and logical reasoning to use established procedures/policies in making decisions
- Excellent spelling, punctuation, grammar and vocabulary skills
- Competent skill in operating PC, printers, copiers, office equipment, and various types of software
- Ability to work with and be able to assist a wide variety of persons from all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds
