Description

  • This position tests & maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators and gas filters in a manner to meet the customer’s operational needs while ensuring compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements
  • Assists with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement related problems in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures
  • Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination. Adheres to company standards of documentation
  • Performs plate changes and general upkeep of the end devices
  • Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Coordinates with the customers Measurement Department and Production Department as required and provides support for gas volume discrepancies. Assists in volume recover by providing information
  • Performs other duties as assigned by customer and/or the company
  • Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives

Qualifications


  • Basic knowledge of the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of measurement equipment
  • Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
  • Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR/background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base
  • Basic Configuration, Calibration & Testing of the following EFM’s:
    • Total Flow: 1 year
    • ROC: 1 year
  • Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  • License/Certification:
