PRIMARY FUNCTION
Reporting to the Manager – Staffing & Scheduling Centre, the Supervisor works in collaboration with the departmental leadership team to support the day to day management of organizational processes, human resources, scheduling, and payroll. The Supervisor will be knowledgeable of and promote best practices and demonstrate established leadership skills to support the needs of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Managing staff resources; ensuring appropriate balance of skills and capabilities, assessing service quality, providing performance feedback and discipline, prioritizing workloads.
- Support recruitment, scheduling, attendance management and payroll support for the team and organization.
- Models professional practice, leadership behaviours and life-long learning by actively participating in self-development activities.
- Promotes a team environment with a collaborative care model.
- Reviews work processes to ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs event/incident follow-up and lead investigations and ensure that proper controls have been implemented.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires completion of University degree or equivalent
- Undergraduate Degree in Health Administration or a related field, or a combination of related work experience and education. (preferred)
- 3 –5 Years Considerable position related experience required
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and Assessment Skills
- Strong organization and leadership skills
- Knowledge in Quality Improvement
- Proven ability to attend work regularly.
- Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
