Description
Convergence health is seeking an Interim Facilities Manager who will maintain the overall maintenance of multiple Facilities. The manager will perform a wide range of facility services including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning equipment; at a level not requiring formal licensure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Coordinate with contractors for repairs and new construction projects, ensuring minimal interruptions to patient care and daily operations.
- ·Plan and coordinate ICRA process with Infection Control officer as needed in patient
care areas. - Monitors performance of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for the facility; performs standard repair/replacement of components, as appropriate, and non-technical maintenance tasks such as cleaning of heating and cooling fan coil units and adjustment of system controls.
- Monitors, maintains, and performs standard repairs to building electrical facilities and systems; assists licensed electricians with non-technical repairs as appropriate.
- Monitors and perform non-technical maintenance of plumbing systems; assists licensed plumbers, as appropriate.
- Perform regular assessments and ensure the building meets state and federal regulations for safety.
- Performs carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheetrock/drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation, paints interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate.
- Plan, schedule, and track preventative maintenance. Documents facilities maintenance requirements: maintains appropriate records of work performed.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- May perform general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and uphold the physical stamina required to carry out duties to include: Climbing to rooftop, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders up to 8 feet and operate the tools and equipment necessary to perform duties in a safe manner
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Formal licensure or certification such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Experience in management or a leadership role equivalent
- Experience with healthcare codes and regulations for life safety, such as NFPA 101
