Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Representatives in the field.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture within the team.
2. Sales Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Implement and execute sales plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the oil and gas industry.
- Collaborate with the team to understand client needs and address inquiries effectively.
4. Sales Activities:
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, and participate in face-to-face meetings to promote products and services.
- Perform ride-alongs with sales team members to provide support, guidance, and facilitate training.
5. New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil field market across the US.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and secure new accounts.
6. Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
7. Accountability and Performance Metrics:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure individual and team success.
- Implement accountability measures to ensure sales targets and objectives are met.
8. Market Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Utilize market insights to inform strategic decision-making and stay competitive.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management within the oil and gas industry or at least five (5) years of leadership experience in the industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
- Knowledge of oil field products, services, and market trends.
- Ability to travel as needed.
-Must have a valid Drivers License.
