We’re looking for a PRN Orthodontic Assistant to join our team on an as-needed basis. This flexible role is perfect for an experienced assistant who enjoys a fun, team-oriented atmosphere and wants to support a practice dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures such as bonding, wire changes, and adjustments.
 - Take orthodontic photos, impressions, and scans (iTero experience a plus).
 - Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and appliance care.
 - Sterilize and set up instruments; maintain a clean, organized treatment area.
 - Communicate clearly with the orthodontic team and support smooth clinical flow.
 - Deliver compassionate, child-friendly care that helps patients feel at ease.
 
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Tennessee.
 - Previous orthodontic assisting experience required.
 - CPR certification and radiology permit preferred.
 - Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
 - Reliable and adaptable — able to fill in as needed within a supportive team.

Requirements
- Travel required to both locations - within 25 mins
 - Active RDA license in Texas
 - CPR certification
 - Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
 - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
