Join ECAM as an Low Voltage Apprentice Field Technician and Learn the Change in Cutting-Edge Surveillance Technology!This entry-level apprenticeship program is designed to provide structured, hands-on training in low-voltage security systems and mobile surveillance technology over the course of one year. The Apprentice Technician will work under the guidance of Tier I–III Technicians to build the technical, problem-solving, and customer service skills required to progress into a Tier I Field Technician role.

Work Site Location: Stockton, CA
Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.

Your Responsibilities
Support field technicians in transportation, installation, servicing, and maintenance of mobile surveillance units
Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of:
Analog and IP-based CCTV Systems
Access Control Systems
Intrusion Detection Systems
Participate in on-site setup of mobile surveillance equipment, including positioning, powering, and system checks
Assist with cabling, termination, labeling, and testing under supervision
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for field service activities
Accurately document work performed and observations in service tickets
Observe and participate in customer interactions to learn best practices for professional service delivery
Commit to ongoing learning through on-the-job training and structured coursework
Your Qualifications:
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to pass an extensive screening process
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in electronics, IT, or related fields preferred
Interest in pursuing a career in security technology, low-voltage systems, or field service work
Basic computer literacy; familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn technical skills
Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate effectively
Must meet background check and driving record requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
Willingness to travel locally as needed
