Care Center Manager – Hospice
Schedule: Monday – Friday with shared on-call responsibility

Empath Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Center Manager to lead our hospice team. In this role, you’ll oversee the delivery of exceptional patient- and family-centered care, ensuring satisfaction and fostering a culture of compassion, service, and excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a hospice care team to consistently exceed patient and family expectations

• Ensure patient satisfaction scores remain high and drive continuous improvement in quality initiatives

• Anticipate and proactively address potential issues, intervening to prevent complaints and resolve challenges effectively

• Foster a culture of compassion, dignity, and meaningful patient/family experiences

• Manage daily operations, staffing, and care delivery while supporting shared on-call responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to refine services and align care with patient and family needs

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent education/experience; Master’s degree in a core hospice discipline preferred

• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience considered

• Minimum 2 years hospice experience; management experience preferred

• 7–10 years of total experience in related healthcare discipline

• Active Florida RN license and CPR certification (American Red Cross or AHA)

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills (successful completion of critical thinking assessment required)

• Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
