In this fast-paced, high energy environment where great guest service is essential, how do we ensure all of our Quick Service guests are happy with our service? As a Quick Service Assistant Manager, you will lead by identifying and assigning work to Quick Service team members, demonstrate top notch leadership skills, and ensure guest satisfaction. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Function)
- *Assist in general management of Quick Service operations to include but not limited to monitor and improve daily Quick Service operations, monitor budgets, establish and analyze reports, anticipate the needs of guests and team members and conduct duties of the manager in their absence.
- *Oversee Quick Service areas, to include but not limited to, ensure guests are properly greeted and assisted, support venue concepts, recommend venue promotions, maintain menu and product knowledge and ensure a positive environment for team members and guests.
- *Assist management to develop initiatives to increase sales, control costs and manage appropriate inventories.
- *Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interview, hire and train team members; schedule and motivate team members; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward team members; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all other team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
- Remain knowledgeable of industry changes, trends and products in order to improve guest service and increase savings.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized work environment.
- Resolve difficult guest situations to a positive resolution with a professional demeanor and maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Ensure efficient scheduling to meet business demands.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and prompt service to all guests.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of Venue equipment, products and standards for all venues.
- Work with manager to establish and ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible, related restaurant operations experience are required.
- Three years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Successfully complete Responsible Alcohol and Food Safety Service certification within ninety (90) days of start date.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work without supervision, exercise initiative and have knowledge to perform all positions within the restaurant venues.
- Office skills, ability to use standard office equipment and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet, Power Point and Access; advanced knowledge of Excel preferred. Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems required; advanced knowledge of POS system preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively before groups of guests or team members of organization.
- Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines and possess integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as plan documents and contracts, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to proactively solve practical problems and deal with stress effectively.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must be able to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear; and stand and walk for the duration of scheduled shift (approximately eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day). The team member is frequently required to sit; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist and turn; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is frequently required to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects up to twenty five (25) pounds and occasionally up to fifty (50) pounds with assistance.

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will work near moving parts and extreme noise, such as kitchen equipment, and will be required to work in a hot environment, such as over and near ovens, cooktops, and open flames, and in a cold environment, such as in freezer/production prep kitchen areas. The team member will be exposed to, handle, and work with foods that are commonly classified as allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, dairy products, seafood, shellfish, and gluten.
