We’re looking for a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Manager to build and lead our compliance, safety, and facilities management program as we scale our robotics manufacturing, construction, and warehouse operations, while also overseeing the maintenance and infrastructure of our facilities.

This individual will establish and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, manage safety for construction and grid installations, and promote a proactive safety culture across the company. This is a highly visible and cross-functional role that partners with manufacturing, fulfillment operations, construction, and robotic service teams to drive operational excellence and a culture of safety.

Responsibilities
Environmental, Health & Safety
Build and implement a scalable EHS program from the ground up, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and relevant local, state, and federal regulations
Write and develop policies, procedures, and training tailored to robotics and warehouse environments to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, incident investigations; drive continuous improvement and track corrective actions to closure
Establish and track key safety metrics and report performance trends
Develop and oversee training programs for safety awareness, hazard communication, lockout/tagout (LOTO), fall protection, machine guarding, and emergency response
Partner with operations, manufacturing and product teams to integrate safety into manufacturing, warehouse design and automation systems.
Promote a strong safety culture through hands-on leadership, communication, and coaching
Facilities Management
Oversee the implementation and adoption of safety, compliance, and organizational policies on the ground in Nimble facilities
Develop and management preventative programs that maintain, repair, and ensure operational readiness of Nimble’s facilities, including the inspection and compliance of critical equipment and building systems (fire safety, electrical)
Coordinate with landlords, service vendors, and contractors to ensure facility reliability and safety
Support space planning, facility buildouts, and workplace ergonomics in collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including warehouse operations, manufacturing, construction, and robotic service
Implement and manage site-level emergency preparedness and business continuity plans
Lead implementation of 5S and continuous improvement practices across manufacturing and fulfillment sites to enhance drive promote safety, reduce waste and hazards, and enhance facility organization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5 - 8+ years of experience managing EHS programs in warehouse operations, manufacturing, or construction
Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EPA, and state/local safety regulations
Professional certifications such as CSP, OSHA 30, etc. a plus
Demonstrated experience leading safety programs involving automation, machinery, or elevated work platforms
Proven ability to build and scale safety programs in a high-growth environment
Resourceful, action-oriented, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves
Willingness to implement procedures and policies on the ground working directly with field operators
Ability to travel up to 25% of time
