Description

SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting Media/Promotions Manager and Marketing Manager with day-to-day marketing activities for the Casino Resort including all on and off-site events, promotions, bus programs, and other duties as assigned. Represents Black Oak Casino Resort with respect and integrity at all times.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

  • Assists department personnel with planning and executing promotional events for the Casino Resort.
  • Responsible for on and off-site operations of the bus program including booking, greeting, check-in, email or written notifications to bus companies, and daily tracking of bus player activity.
  • Responsible for coupon book programs with The Hotel and The RV Park including back-end tracking, expired coupon control, and timely profitability and redemption reports.
  • Assists in on and off-site promotional events and distribution and control of promotional items and premiums on behalf of the Casino Resort.
  • Must be knowledgeable in software programs MGT, IGT, CSS and Super Playmate.
  • Responsible for planning and executing entertainment calendar for the Casino Resort.
  • Coordinates negotiations of all entertainment contracts.
  • Coordinates event-related scheduling of set up, arrival times, load in, sound check, and all other in-house related production issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining all social media sites with up-to-date information, promotions, pictures, and follows through with Guests comments and requests.
  • Responsible for assisting with execution of all sponsorship, donation, and raffle requests.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting of marketing certificates issued for donations, raffles, and promotions.
  • Responsible for promotional signage change out and tracking at the conclusion of all promotions and events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid California driver license and a Black Oak Casino Resort drivers permit.
  • Previous Marketing or Public Service Relations experience preferred.
  • Must have ability to work in a team environment and embrace Black Oak Casino Resorts Mission and Values.
  • Must be computer proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel with overnight stays required.
  • Must maintain flexible, varying, 24-hour schedule to meet requirements of position.
  • Must be able to convey a positive and professional image.
  • Must have ability to coordinate a high level of activities under a variety of conditions and constraints.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and more with assistance.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
