Job Summary:

Receptionist attends to visitors and deals with basic insurance inquiries on the phone and face to face. Responsibilities also include supplying information regarding the organization to the public, and insureds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Answers telephone, screens and direct calls for IBC Insurance in Texas and Oklahoma

  • Maintains basic knowledge of insurance knowledge and department functions to provide inquiry assistance.

  • Take and relay messages.

  • Greet those entering the building and direct them to the correct destination

  • Receive deliveries

  • Scan all incoming mail for IBC Insurance employees

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support

  • Collects mail from the mailbox and distributes it appropriately.

  • All other duties assigned by Officers and Managers.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1 year clerical experience
