Position Type: Part-Time, Temporary (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Duration: Now through December 31, 2025 (extension possible based on business needs)
This role will provide dynamic cross-functional support for CFI’s front office, performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as well as providing Customer Service support. Individual will own responsibility for maintaining all aspects of the daily front office operations.
Essential Job Functions:
· Greet and manage lobby guests by directing and enforcing all GMP and Safety compliance policies for visitors, vendors, etc.
· Coordinate front-desk activities, including petty cash, distributing mail/packages, redirecting phone calls, and radio correspondence.
· Manage the process for ordering and maintaining all office supplies, including copier consumables and service/maintenance.
· Maintain updates for company documents, including phone list and plant maps.
· Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and brokers with questions pertaining to current and past orders
· Collaborate with warehouse to acquire COAs for all upcoming outbound shipments
· Assist with customer order input/revisions and customer invoice processing
· Maintain all customer communications and file them appropriately
· Assist Human Resources with applicant reference checks, verification of employment and schedule pre-employment screening test with WPH.
Non Essential Job Functions:
· Support department managers with special projects
· Assist other departments, as needed, with regards to administrative tasks, including daily Supervisor Reports
· Maintain records for sales & use tax and CFI utilities
· Manage information sharing via internal TV system
Requirements
Requirements:
· 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette
· Well organized, dedicated, reliable, and flexible
· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
· Experience using Microsoft Office
· Strong attention to detail aptitude
· Confidentiality required
Other Skills/Abilities:
· Microsoft NAV Experience preferred
· Food Manufacturing Experience is preferred
· Ability to multi-task and manage staff, in a fast paced environment
· Ethical conduct
